Career Progression and Biography
I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new Business Development Manager, UK & Ireland for Reacton Fire Suppression.
Past experience
Having worked in the Fire Industry since 1999, where my main focus has been on Fire Suppression technologies, I have gained a wealth of experience in OEM, Distribution and Contracting Fire Protection businesses, both internationally and here in the UK.
I began my career in Fire Protection in 1999, working for Hygood as a Sales Support Engineer and quickly worked my way up to becoming a Regional Sales Manager, supporting the Fire Trade in the UK and Ireland. As the company grew, we were acquired by Tyco (now Johnson Controls) and Hygood, becoming one of the leading brands globally for Gaseous Fire Suppression Systems. Here I became more involved in international business, supporting a number of key Tyco brands, such as Ansul, Skum and Neuruppin.
In 2009 I joined Firetrace International, where I managed Sales and Business Development activities across the Middle East, India, Africa and Europe over a 5 year period. During this time I was developing markets and growing brand awareness through increased distribution, attaining local approvals and creating market opportunities for our partners to target.
In 2013, I moved out to the United Arab Emirates and joined Haven Fire & Safety as Business Development Manager. As a multi-disciplined Fire System distributor and integrator, Haven Fire & Safety are involved in all kinds of projects across the Fire & Safety sector and I gained a great deal of knowledge and experience in project management and system integration, protecting everything from off-shore platforms to luxury hotels, shopping malls to industrial equipment and machinery.
Recent Updates
Having recently moved back to the UK to be closer to family and friends, I am excited to continue my career in Fire Protection with Reacton and am looking forward to working with you and helping to grow your Fire Suppression opportunities and business going forward.
