Group 1000002162

UL 2166 – Direct Low Pressure Systems (DLP) – Clean Agent Systems (Tube-Type)

Reacton earned a UL Listing to UL 2166 for its direct release R-1230 clean agent systems – the world’s first UL 2166 listing for direct (tube-activated) clean agent technology. This Underwriters Laboratories certification (achieved in late 2023) verifies that the system meets UL’s rigorous safety and performance standards for halocarbon extinguishing systems. It provides global recognition (UL mark) for use in enclosures like machinery spaces, server cabinets, etc.

Group 1000002162

UL 2166 – Indirect Low Pressure Systems (ILP) – Clean Agent Systems (Total Flooding)

Reacton’s indirect (Total Flooding) clean agent systems are also UL 2166 listed. The indirect clean agent systems (with distribution piping and nozzles) were evaluated to ANSI/CAN/UL/ULC 2166 Standard for Halocarbon Clean Agent Extinguishing System Units, ensuring compliance with NFPA 2001 and international expectations. (UL certification obtained 2022; maintained via UL).

LPCB_2X

LPCB LPS 1666 – Direct Low Pressure (DLP) (Clean Agent)

Reacton secured LPCB approval to LPS 1666 for its range of direct clean agent electrical cabinet suppression systems. Certified in early 2022, this Loss Prevention Certification Board standard (LPS 1666) is the first dedicated fire test for small enclosures. Reacton’s systems, originally using 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid (Now R-1230) and Chemours FM-200™ earned this certification, attesting to their effectiveness in protecting energised cabinets with ventilation. The LPCB certificate (ref. 1683a/1683b) is recognised in the UK, Europe, and globally for high-quality fire protection products.
