MLRS

The Reacton Fire Suppression system is currently installed on a range of NATO MLRS systems providing fire protection to the auxiliary engine compartment. In the event of a fire, the risk is quickly extinguished protecting both operators, the asset and rockets from total loss.

Tracked Artillery

Installation of automatic fire suppression systems on tracked artillery vehicles such as the AS90 can be achieved in confined spaces to ensure the safety of the personnel on board, the asset and munitions.  Fires are quickly detected and extinguished with our clean agent system.

Main Battle Tanks

An outbreak of fire in the engine compartment of a tank can lead to loss of life and total asset destruction. An automatic fire suppression system from Reacton can mitigate these risks by quickly detecting and extinguishing a fire before it has a chance to take control and spread.

Communications

A Strategic military communication node plays a vital role in keeping personnel safe on battlegrounds. It is imperative that fire risk is mitigated quickly to prevent total loss and communication blackouts using our world-class automatic fire suppression systems.

Military Vehicle Fire Suppression

Armoured and tactical wheeled vehicles patrol and protect in some of the most dangerous conflict zones in the world. Combining operational mobility with offensive and defensive capability, these warfighting machines are deployed around the world to protect enemy lines.

These combat vehicles are enemy targets, with fuel tanks and hydraulic lines that can explode into flames if penetrated when caught in cross fire. Engine compartments, tires and other external areas are all susceptible to explosive fires from roadside bombs, improvised explosive devices and explosively formed penetrators.

More recent conflicts have highlighted that additional fire protection to handheld fire extinguishers already carried onboard are needed. Modern vehicle designs mitigate fire hazards, but to protect military ground crews from injury due to fire, automatic fire suppression is needed.

High Performance Military Fire Suppression Systems

Vehicles found in this environment have a demanding schedule and must perform around the clock. This is no different from the Automatic fire suppression that will also be subject to these conditions. Reacton® ensure that our equipment offers its high performance when called upon.

Our Vehicle Waste & Recycling system features include:

  •  System & components tested to ISO 16750-3:2007
  •  Corrosion resistance to ISO 21207:2016
  •  Multi Port High Flow Discharge Valve
  •  Robust detection system
  •  Compact systems
  •  High performance with low nozzle count
