Reacton 1230 Clean Agent 

Reacton 1230 is a fluorinated ketone that is stored as a liquid and discharged as a gas. It is electrically non-conductive and leaves no residue after discharge. It distributes uniformly throughout the hazard zone and suppresses fire primarily by heat absorption from the flame.

FM-200™ sometimes referred to as HFC-227ea is the most tested liquefiable clean agent of all time. It is an electrically non-conductive odourless and colourless gas. FM-200™ offers minimal downtime due to no clean-up, post discharge. It is stored as a liquid and introduced into the protected hazard as a clear colourless vapor. FM-200™ leaves no residue and is suitable for occupied spaces. FM-200™ has zero Ozone Depletion Potential.

These Clean Agents are the most trusted and tested liquefiable gases on the market with all supply being solely through the biggest names in the industry when it comes to Clean Agents.  These can be discharged in both direct and indirect fire suppression systems.

We have the world's first UL Listing to UL2166 for Direct (DLP) Technology Clean Agent systems and we also hold UL2166 Listing for Indirect (ILP) Technology.

Reacton uses a patented ultra high flow fire suppression valve. The valve, made from 303 stainless steel alloy, ensures that all extinguishing agents are discharged as designed and appear on every one of our fire suppression systems installed.

CNC Fire Suppression Systems

Increasing amounts of CNC Machine shops are looking at alternatives for coolant such as oil based coolants to achieve greater precision and tool life in applications such as medical, aerospace, marine and automotive fire safety applications. However with so many moving parts this chance comes an increased risk of fire in CNC Machines. To mitigate the risk Reacton has successful installed and suppressed fires in CNC machines for over 25 years, saving machine shops and CNC operators from the effects of fires.

Our systems are recognised by major insurance underwriters and supported by a comprehensive fire risk assessment before installation. Our CNC EDM fire protection system is suitable to be fitted to all CNC machines including high precision machines and swiss type lathes.  

The Reacton CNC machine fire suppression system uses our proprietary detection tubing, which once installed in the protected area will detect a fire inside the CNC Mills. Once the fire is detected, our patented automatic pneumatic value operates, causing the extinguishing agent to be released into the CNC Milling machines to extinguish the fire.

Additional options such as pressure switches and indication panels alert the CNC operator to flash fire. These are often connected to central building alarm panels and other communication platforms.

Our automatic fire suppression systems are independent of power supplies which ensures detection and suppression in any condition. Our systems are all manufactured and designed under our BSI ISO9001:2015 quality policy and are CE & DOT Compliant.
