Producing over 2 million ounces of Gold every year, Muruntau is the world’s largest gold mine in terms of production. Muruntau is located in the Qizilqum Desert, Uzbekistan, and is also the world’s largest open-pit mine, hence making its physical size just as impressive as its material output. The mine itself is roughly 3.3km long, 2.5km and 600m deep, within the mine there is believed to be over 150 million ounces of gold. In August of 2020, we announced our partnership with our Central Asian Distributors, a key function of their operations includes providing protection for the fleet of vehicles in the Muruntau mine in Uzbekistan.

Recently, Reacton worked closely with our Central Asian distributors to provide them with training, ensuring their knowledge of our systems is up-to-date. Gary Warman, Reacton’s Technical Trainer, spent a week in Uzbekistan conducting training with our distributors to ensure they had an up-to-date understanding of our systems so that they could continue with their important operations and installations. Our distributors group of companies have received an expansion in their activities which has resulted in the need for an increase in automatic fire suppression systems. After successful tests in 2021, the installation of our industry-leading fire suppression systems on Komatsu dump trucks was carried out based on the vehicle management of the Central Mine Administration of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine in Uzbekistan.
